- 1 medium 130 g yellow onion, peeled, cut into large chunks
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled, smashed

- 2 400 g sweet potatoes, cooked, halved
- 3 ½ cups 840 ml vegetable broth
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt, optional

- Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until translucent, 2 – 3 minutes. Add all spices, cooking until aromatic, 3 – 4 minutes.
- Place the cooked mixture into the Vitamix container along with the sweet potatoes, broth, and salt, then secure the lid.
- Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 5 minutes 45 seconds.
