  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 lemon [or 4 Tablespoons lemon juice], peeled
  • 4 medium 560 g apples, halved, seeded
  • 2 30 g dates [or 1 Tablespoons honey], pitted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ lemon [or 2 Tablespoons lemon juice], peeled
  • 4 medium 560 g apples, halved, seeded
  • 2 30 g dates [or 1 Tablespoon honey], pitted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ lemon [or 2 Tablespoons lemon juice], peeled
  • 2 medium 280 g apples, halved, seeded
  • 1 15 g date, pitted [or 1/2 Tablespoon honey]
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ lemon [or 1 Tablespoon lemon juice], peeled

Directions

Cook Along
    1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
    2. Run the Dips & Spreads Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.  Blend for 60 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Note

Remove skin from half of the apples for a lighter colored applesauce. If you prefer a chunkier style applesauce, turn to Variable 6 instead of the highest speed and blend.
